As a former defense lawyer, Marilynn brings a unique perspective that helps our clients succeed by offering a view from the other side. Her extensive jury trial experience was honed by representing insurance companies and corporations as defendants in personal injury litigation for 22 years. "After many years representing corporate defendants and working on behalf of insurance companies, I know what they will do next. They will spend resources of both time and money to minimize or defeat your claim. I fight to prevent that from happening. Knowing the defendant's ‘play book' as I do allows me to anticipate their plan and defeat it whenever I can. My strategy is to take the steps and commit the resources that are needed to be successful for my clients".
"Preparation is everything. Early in my practice, I was taught to do the work necessary to prepare every case as if it were going to trial. Obtaining the best possible result for my client starts with listening to and knowing their case inside and out. No two cases are alike. I work to get the case settled for the damages my clients deserve, but I am always ready for trial".
In her free time, Marilynn enjoys traveling abroad with her husband. Marilynn and her husband have experienced many countries throughout Europe; the United Kingdom; New Zealand, Seychelles, and South Africa. Marilynn enjoys exploring the local culture, especially the cuisine, while traveling abroad.
