Settlement Reached in Suit: Wrongful Death Case Gets Family $1.2 Million

JOLIET - An out of court settlement has been reached in a wrongful death lawsuit filed against Green Garden Township by the family of a Monee girl killed in a 2000 accident. On Sept. 9, 2000, Jessica Scardullo was riding in a Dodge Dakota being driven by her mother, Lynn, when it collided with a Chevrolet truck at 88th Avenue and Stuenkel Road. The truck was owned by Ferrellgas Inc.
